We are very pleased to announce that we are due to be married on the 27th October 2021 and you are invited! The wedding will take place in Crete, at the Grecotel White Palace, on the outskirts of Rethymnon. Our wedding will be an intimate, adult only celebration with a small guest list. Regrettably this means no children on the big day, but we do hope that you can join us!

White Palace
With white-themed minimalist design, this sprawling, seafront, 5-star luxury resort is all-inclusive and just 16 km from the walls of Fortezza Rethymnon.
Elegant rooms include minibars, minifridges and flat-screen TVs, plus free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffeemakers. They all have floor-to-ceiling windows, and balconies or terraces; some have sea views. Family rooms offer 2 bedrooms, while luxe villas feature whirlpool tubs and private pools. Room service is available.
There are multiple seafront restaurants and bars, plus 4 saltwater pools and a kids’ pool. Sports facilities, entertainment and a full-service spa are also available.

We hope that you can stay a while and enjoy Crete with us. It would be great if you could stay at White Palace with us, but understand that you may wish to stay elsewhere. With this in mind we have provided a few alternatives.

The Wedding Venue itself. A luxurious 5-star hotel with sweeping sea views and modern design.
Aquila Rithymna Beach
A stylish 5-star family hotel just 3.8km down the coast from the wedding venue.
Nefeli Hotel
Nefeli Hotel is a casual 3-star hotel with rooms housed in petite bungalow buildings. Just 3.4km from the venue.
Ikones Seafront Luxury Suites
Although slightly further away at 7.1km, this hotel offers great 5-star accommodation on the beach.
Rethymno Residence
A short walk down the beach, just 1.8km away. This 3-star hotel offers comfortable beach front accommodation.

The menu for our big day consist of many Greek foods and we hope that you see something that takes your fancy. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements or questions regarding the menu.

Fresh greek bread and soft cheese will be available on the table. Then, after the meal, Raki, fresh fruit and greek coffee will be available.

Here are a few finer details regarding the big day. Please let us know if you have any other questions regarding the holiday or wedding.
We have decided not to invite children. Of course you can bring your children on holiday with you, but you would need to organise childcare for the wedding day.
Grecotel White Palace offers kids groups and childcare for a range of age groups.
We do not expect any wedding gifts. Your presence at our wedding is the only present we would like! Having said this, if you are feeling generous we would appreciate TUI VouchersTUI Vouchers that we could use towards a honeymoon.
Yes, there will be vegetarian alternatives. We hope the wedding menu provides a good selection for everyone including vegetarians.
The wedding ceremony will start at 5.00pm so we would require you to be there, and seated, by 4.30pm.
Smart Casual is the dress code. We hope the weather will be warm so shirts, trousers and floaty dresses will be fine. We would suggest bringing a blazer or jacket for the evening.
